Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legionella Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a key member of our Water Hygiene department, you will be responsible for conducting legionella risk assessments, identifying potential risks and hazards, and developing effective control measures to ensure compliance with legislations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274
  • Identify potential risks and hazards related to water hygiene and develop effective control measures
  • Write clear and concise reports detailing findings and recommendations for clients
  • Liaise with clients and build strong relationships to ensure their compliance with legislations and guidelines
  • Carry out remedial works and supervise the implementation of control measures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in legionella risk management
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments and remedial works

Requirements:

  • Legionella Risk Assessing qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274
  • Excellent report writing and technical skills
  • A full driving license and willingness to travel
  • Experience in conducting legionella risk assessments and delivering effective control measures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work on a variety of projects
