KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate design packages for electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, motors, generators, switchgear, and control systems.
  • Develop the Project Design Basis Document according to project specifications.
  • Compile comprehensive project load lists based on the defined scope.
  • Create technical reports and specifications for electrical equipment.
  • Support electrical engineering activities during the engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to finalize the electrical engineering scope for projects.
  • Analyze major equipment selections within design packages.
  • Address technical and site inquiries effectively.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with client and industry standards.
  • Monitor contractor performance and work quality in coordination with client teams.
  • Verify contractor designs comply with client standards and applicable regulations.
  • Assist Project Managers in evaluating material requisitions and technical bids.
  • Review change orders for compliance with standards and budget considerations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to maintain facility integrity and safety.
  • Provide technical assurance for electrical discipline deliverables.
  • Propose improvements for installations and modifications to enhance existing systems.
  • Possess strong knowledge of power system automation.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Certification as a professional engineer is preferred.
  • Experience in design, engineering, and construction is essential.
  • Familiarity with international electrical standards and best practices.
  • Proficient in control systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
  • Strong command of the English language for technical analysis and presentations.
  • Experience with Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) or similar software is advantageous.
