We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reporting Actuary to join the team at Arthur, a leading global company. This is a newly created role due to a restructure and is a crucial hire for the ongoing performance and growth of the company.
The position will manage a team of actuaries and report to the Chief Actuary. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in London / Lloyd's reserving and a strong background in actuarial reporting.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Monitoring reserves and reserving overview for both Lloyd's and non-Lloyd's business across all products
- Presenting regularly to senior stakeholders and sitting on the reserve committee and boards
- Working on the ongoing reserving transformation project
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of actuarial principles and be able to apply this knowledge to drive business growth. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and present to senior stakeholders.
This role will require the candidate to be in the office 3 days a week and involve some travel a few times a year. The salary for this position is up to £160k with a competitive package.
