Behaviour Mentor Job Description

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to fill the role of Behaviour Mentor, supporting students with challenging behaviour in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to students with behavioural challenges, promoting positive engagement in the learning environment.
  • Implement evidence-based behaviour management strategies to foster positive change.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to create a supportive and structured atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Resilient attitude, with a passion for helping students overcome obstacles.
  • Previous experience working with challenging behaviour is desirable but not essential.
