We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Floatation Therapist to join our team at Nirvana Spa & Leisure Ltd. As a key member of our Floatation Department, you will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead the Floatation Team and set an example of high customer service and department standards.
- Operational Management: Manage the operational aspects of the department, including pool safety, pool monitoring, and pool water quality testing.
- Customer Experience: Ensure the department customer journey expectations are consistently met, and promote a high morale within the team.
- Communication: Effectively communicate between the Floatation and Management Team, utilizing Staff Hub where appropriate.
- Treatment Development: Support and assist the Treatment Management team with the development of the department.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Promote a culture of high standards of cleanliness within the department, monitoring daily completion of cleaning tasks.
- Treatment Quality: Commit to ensuring treatments are delivered to the highest possible standards by completing regular assessments of team members' inductions.
- Retail and Sales: Promote and upsell department treatments to ensure high levels of occupancy, and personally achieve monthly retail targets.
- Staff Management: Assist with recruitment, training, and inductions for new starters, and address performance-related issues with individual staff members when required.
- Health and Safety: Be the Health and Safety representative for the department, completing regular checks and ensuring the health and safety procedures are always adhered to.
- Training and Development: Complete regular refresher training and quarterly 1-to-1's for the Floatation Team, offering support to those who need it.
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience and confidence in leading a team, being able to take initiative when required.
- Positive Approach: Positive approach to all matters with forward-thinking and solution-driven ideas.
- Communication Skills: Approachable with the ability to listen and understand.
- Proactivity: Proactive with a strong desire to learn and develop.
