Job Title: Autism Support Worker

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team at a Sheffield-based SEN school. As an Autism Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism to achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with the teacher to deliver a personalized autism-friendly academic and social skills curriculum. You will provide tailored support to students, ensuring their safety and well-being, and assist in delivering and running small group activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students to enable them to learn in an appropriate environment
  • Ensure the safeguarding of all students
  • Provide care as required, including personal care and support of SEMH (Training will be provided)
  • Assist in delivering and running small group activities
  • Support the class teacher in the general running of the sessions
  • Prepare materials and learning aids
