This charity stands as one of Surrey's foremost organizations dedicated to assisting children and young individuals. Their mission revolves around empowering youth to achieve the wellbeing necessary for a healthy and fulfilling life. By working alongside parents, caregivers, educational institutions, policymakers, and the youth themselves, they strive to maintain their status as a leading provider of early intervention services in Surrey.

The organization recognizes the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ youth, including isolation, bullying, and familial conflict or rejection. Their focus is on empowering these young individuals to navigate such challenges, fostering safe communities where they can express themselves freely and experience acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery to Youth:
* Engage with young individuals through face-to-face group sessions and one-on-one interactions to motivate and inspire.
* Assess the needs and strengths of referred youth, assisting them in identifying personal goals for positive change in collaboration with families and professionals.
* Manage a caseload of children and young people, some of whom may have complex needs.
* Support the planning and delivery of LGBTQ+ sessions, ensuring ongoing assistance is provided to young individuals, prioritizing their needs and offering timely support.
* Collaborate with the LGBTQ+ team to involve young people in the planning, execution, and evaluation of youth programs.
* Ensure parental and caregiver involvement in the planning and evaluation of peer parenting initiatives.

Impact Monitoring and Reporting:
* Utilize goal-based outcomes and monitoring tools to assess the effectiveness of support provided to youth accessing services.
* Prepare written case studies to demonstrate the effectiveness of individual interventions.
* Assist the LGBTQ+ team in developing and evaluating service delivery, aiming to scale up programs.
* Support the team in producing accurate and timely data reports for internal management and funders, adhering to project reporting timelines and expectations.

Personal Development and Additional Duties:
* Participate in regular case reviews with the line manager.
* Stay informed about best practices, legislation, and policies impacting service delivery.
* Collaborate with the team to foster a culture of cooperation across the organization.
* Attend training and supervision sessions as agreed with the line manager.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle. This role is subject to an advanced DBS check upon appointment, along with reference checks.
