Job Summary
Rogers McHugh Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Security Installation and Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of security systems, including intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission security systems, including intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems, in accordance with industry standards and codes of practice.
- Work with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required specification.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of security systems, including Honeywell Galaxy Intruder, ACT, and Honeywell Access Control systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients as required.
- Conduct site visits to assess security system requirements and provide recommendations for system design and installation.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of security systems with other building systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in security technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security system installation and commissioning.
- Knowledge of security systems, including Honeywell Galaxy Intruder, ACT, and Honeywell Access Control systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid ECS/CSCS card.
- Full clean driving license and willingness to travel throughout the UK.
Desirable
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- Previous experience working in a retail security systems environment.
- Network/IP-based product experience.
