Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team, working 5 days out of 6 on a rotating shift pattern. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous running of equipment and machinery through routine maintenance and repairs, thereby improving production facilities and reducing breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to minimize breakdowns and optimize repair and maintenance activities.
  • Supervise on-site contractors to ensure compliance with company policies on Food Safety and Health & Safety.
  • Adhere to company policies on Food Safety and Health & Safety when performing duties throughout the site.
Requirements
  • Qualified Electrical and Mechanical experience, preferably with time-served training.
  • Knowledge of Slicing Machines, Vacuum Systems, and brands such as Handtmann, Vemag, and Cryovac.
  • Food production background is advantageous.
