Job Title: CNC Machine Shop Manager

GPS Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Shop Manager to join our team. As a CNC Machine Shop Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of components, meeting quality and budget requirements, and managing a small team of CNC machinists and CAM operators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the CAM team and workload prioritization
  • Manage the Machine Shop Team for CNC program creation, scheduling, and production
  • Manage inventory and replenishment
  • Manage raw material stock holding and replenishment
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to deliver products for customers in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the Technical Manager to deliver new concepts and advancements in innovation
  • Implement, monitor, and improve KPIs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Excellent organizational skills within a factory environment
  • Proven track record in planning and scheduling
  • Experience in managing a small and passionate team
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve the goals of the business
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to efficiently meet all deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Preferrable experience in 3 & 5 axis machines
  • Preferrable experience in Solidworks CAD/CAM software
