We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lift Repair Engineer to join our team at James Grace in Reading. As a key member of our London & South division, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our clients' elevators throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and replace customer lifts to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Perform regular safety checks and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Plan and manage workload to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies via our established supply chain
- Recommend necessary parts and equipment to ensure lift compliance with industry regulations
- Participate in out-of-hours work on a pro rata basis to meet customer needs
- NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualifications
- Full UK Driving License with the ability to travel throughout the region
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and customers
- Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and openness to change to drive business growth and improvement
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
- Exceptional customer-care abilities to deliver high-quality service and build strong relationships
- Self-assessment and ownership of personal development to continuously improve skills and knowledge
