Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team in West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing Fire Alarm Systems to the relevant industry standards, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of safety and security for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Service the appropriate devices, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials.
  • Ensure your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritized correctly.
  • Correctly complete Engineer work reports or checklists as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Experience within the fire industry with knowledge of repair and maintenance of large systems.
  • Expert knowledge in mainstream and top-end fire and aspiration systems.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards and a logical approach to troubleshooting, together with good computer skills.
  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
  • Must hold a full clean driving license.
  • The ability to lift and climb ladders and be comfortable working at height.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hold current relevant qualifications to the industry, i.e., 18th edition/NVQ/City and Guilds/BTEC/FIA.
