Our client, a leading player in the automotive retail industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Controller to lead their sales team at their Used Car Dealership. As a Sales Controller, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing and motivating your team to deliver exceptional customer service, and ensuring the dealership is well-presented and efficiently managed. You will build strong relationships with your team and stakeholders, and be commercially aware, with a passion for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver customer satisfaction.
  2. Manage and resource the sales team effectively, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to succeed.
  3. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve sales performance.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A proven track record in sales, preferably within the automotive industry.
  2. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
  3. Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  4. Commercial awareness and a passion for the automotive industry.
Working Pattern

Your working pattern will cover a mixture of weekends and weekdays, with a focus on long days of 4 or 5 days per week, rota dependent.

Compensation and Benefits

As a Sales Controller, you will receive a competitive base salary of £42,000 + a highly achievable bonus scheme with an OTE of £55k plus other company incentives and benefits.
