Job Title: Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Department across four quarry sites and three engineering workshops. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the health and safety of staff, contractors, and visitors to site, minimising the effect of the engineering function on the environment, and engineering projects planning through to completion in line with the annual budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate the Engineering Department in accordance with the Health and Safety document.
  2. Ensure management control and supervision of all engineering activities.
  3. Ensure that daily/weekly/monthly inspections are completed, and defects reported.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in the Maintenance and repair of all types of quarrying plant.
  2. At least five years of management experience in the Quarry or similar industrial facility.
  3. At a minimum, a QCF 6/NVQ4 in Extractives Management or be willing to study for it.
  4. A qualified electrician or extensive electrical knowledge would be preferred.
