Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 8+ mechanics, assign daily tasks, and ensure efficient workflow and thorough performance.
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform a variety of repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement.
- Quality Control: Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks and identifying issues.
- Training and Development: Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and receive additional training to become a great mechanic.
- Team Management: Oversee and train new mechanics, maintain a team-oriented environment, and integrate new team members.
- Experience: Experience as a mechanic in the automotive/transportation industry.
- Qualifications: Electrical engineering or mechanic background, qualifications such as Cytech level 2 or similar are highly advantageous.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 65lbs/30kg on a frequent basis required.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate a mobile device, including knowledge of in-app-based workflows, iOS experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions.
- Soft Skills: Willingness to learn, great attitude, and ability to work well with others - teamwork is key to success.
- Competitive Pay: £15 per hour, paid weekly.
