About the Role:
Embark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pump Fitter / Service Technician to join our team in the North West area. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of pump hire equipment, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pump hire equipment, including water pumps, generators, and construction equipment.
- Client Site Visits: Attend client sites to repair and service industrial water pumps, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Accessory Fitting: Fit accessories as required, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Workshop Targets: Maintain and exceed workshop targets, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Administration: Complete administration tasks, including service and repair records, accurately and efficiently.
- Health and Safety: Maintain health and safety to HSE and company standards, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in one or more of the following roles: Service Engineer, Mobile Service Engineer, Plant Fitter.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience within the Plant / Generator / Pump Hire and Construction Equipment Industry.
- Problem Solving: Analytical approach to problem solving, able to work without instruction.
- Tool Kit: Own tool kit.
- IT Skills: Basic IT skills.
- Communication: Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Driver's License: Full UK driver's license.
