Position Overview

  • Execute assembly tasks utilizing hand riveting and planishing techniques.
  • Conduct riveting processes.
  • Perform drilling activities.
  • Prepare and finalize assemblies through abrading and finishing.
  • Operate hand and air-powered tools.
  • Ensure products adhere to specified tolerances and meet both customer and internal quality standards.
  • Interpret and work from engineering schematics.
  • Maintain equipment functionality by fulfilling maintenance obligations.

Required Skills

  • Prior experience in assembly operations.
  • Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (5S).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal components and hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High degree of precision in work.
  • Experience in the aerospace sector is a plus.

Shift Details

This role operates on a rotating shift basis:

  • Mornings: (Apply online only) (Mon-Thur), (Apply online only) (Fri)
  • Afternoons: (Apply online only) (Mon-Thur), (Apply online only) (Fri)

Compensation

The annual salary is £33,471 (including shift allowance), with overtime compensated at time and a half.
