Cluster Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cluster Maintenance Manager to join our team at Leisure People Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our sports, leisure, and fitness centres across Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.
About the Role:The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach to maintenance and be able to take charge of day-to-day basic maintenance and fabric issues across all our leisure facilities. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance assistants, manage third-party contractors, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our leisure facilities, ensuring they are safe and well-maintained for our customers.
- Lead and develop a team of maintenance assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage third-party contractors, ensuring they are working in line with company procedures and policies.
- Manage and maintain our PPM and BMS systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies, maintaining a safe working environment for our staff and customers.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a high-volume customer service-oriented commercial building.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, contractors, and customers.
- Ability to manage and maintain PPM and BMS systems, with a good understanding of IT software.
- Financial experience, with the ability to manage maintenance budgets.
- Pool Plant operator/swimming pool experience is highly desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
- UK driving license and own vehicle to travel between centres.
