Das Group has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Accounting Technician to join our Finance Department in a dynamic role.
In this varied position, the successful candidate will work within the Credit Control team, and will principally be responsible for the reconciliation and allocation of inbound cash. Other key aspects of this role will include reconciliations, making payments and cash management. You can expect to assist the credit controller with debt recovery.
Candidates must possess excellent attention to detail and prioritisation skills, as well as strong communication skills with respect to communicating financial information to both internal and external customers.
Proficiency in Excel is essential, and comfort with a workload of mainly administrative tasks is required. Previous experience of working in a finance department or with account procedures is advantageous, but not essential, and full training and support will be provided.
A good level of general education and ideally qualified to AAT Level 3 is preferred. Confidence with MS Office/365 applications, especially Excel, is also required. You will be agile in the way that you work and adaptable to change.
