Position Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and committed Field Refrigeration Technician with a solid background in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responsive service. This is a permanent role that involves working across various corporate and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks to a high standard, ensuring all operations meet client expectations.
- Manage PPM and reactive maintenance requests issued through the helpdesk within designated timeframes.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems, including new installations and major/minor repairs.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in systems and equipment, including basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Oversee contractor activities on behalf of the client, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and quality of workmanship.
- Evaluate system performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract.
- Engage proactively with clients to address concerns and relay information to management as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and COSHH compliance.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems, or equivalent qualifications in Heating and Ventilation.
- IPAF and PASMA certifications are advantageous.
- A valid UK Driving License is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with electrical qualifications.
