Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled General Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

About the Role:

As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner to students and staff. You will maintain the cleanliness of the front-of-house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils, and follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and recipes.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front-of-house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
