Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Team Manager to lead our Learning Disabilities Team. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing team operations, managing complex cases, and ensuring the effective delivery of specialized services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Learning Disabilities Team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Care Planning and Coordination: Conduct and oversee comprehensive assessments and care plans to meet the unique needs and goals of individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and enhance care.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor team performance, implement improvements, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a social work role, with significant experience in a leadership or management position.
  • Skills: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
