About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at European LifeCare Group. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vaccination programmes, working closely with our clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programme Compliance: Ensure that our vaccination programmes are compliant with CQC guidance and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.
  • Clinical Supervision: Provide regular clinical supervision to our immunisation nurses, ensuring they are working to a high clinical standard and addressing any safeguarding concerns that may arise.
  • Staff Support: Offer support and guidance to our clinical staff, ensuring they are working within our policies and standards, and addressing any clinical queries or concerns they may have.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all formal and informal clinical supervision, staff training, and incidents or complaints, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.
  • CQC Inspections: Attend CQC inspections as required, ensuring that our services are meeting the necessary standards.
  • Performance Development: Conduct annual performance development reviews for our clinical staff, assessing their clinical competencies and ensuring they are working to the highest standards.
  • Training and Development: Plan and implement formal clinical supervision sessions with our immunisation nurses, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
  • Recruitment and Induction: Assist in recruiting nursing staff and allocating mentors for new staff, ensuring a smooth induction process and high-quality training.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Nurses and Midwives currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), with a Nursing and/or Midwifery Qualification.
  • Experience: Evidence of ongoing professional development, working within PGD frameworks, and immunisation experience.
  • Skills: Safeguarding trained, good IT skills, excellent communication and organisational skills, and high levels of competence, judgement, integrity, personal and professional accountability.
