Job Title: Back Office Analyst - Energy Trading
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Back Office Analyst to join our dynamic trading floor team at Discovered MENA. As a leading energy trading company, we unite top talent from around the globe to revolutionize energy flow in global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily reconciliation of trades across various commodity classes, ensuring data accuracy and completeness in the company system.
- Calculate and report daily profit and loss for trading portfolios, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage collateral requirements for trades, optimizing usage and ensuring compliance with risk management policies.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance back-office processes and systems, contributing to overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a back office or trading operations role within the energy industry.
- Knowledge of energy trading contracts and pricing mechanisms.
- Proficiency in PowerBI and Excel; familiarity with programming languages such as Python and VBA is a plus.
- Experience with trading and risk management systems (ETRM) is preferred.
