About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Spectrum Community Health CIC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide individualized care to patients in a prison environment, working closely with a qualified nurse or practitioner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Substance Misuse monitoring and support
  • Reception screening and assessment
  • Providing agreed care packages and health promotion
  • Undertaking physical health observations and clinics

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with people with complex health needs
  • Knowledge of nursing standards and confidentiality

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Knowledge or experience working in a prison or secure environment setting
  • Experience in responding to emergency situations
  • Experience using SystmOne
  • Experience working with individuals with Substance Misuse needs
