Job Title: Commis Chef

We are seeking a skilled Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Woodspeen, a renowned restaurant and bar in the UK. As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our discerning customers.

About the Role:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes, working closely with the culinary team.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or equivalent role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Leaving Cert level education or above, with a focus on culinary arts.
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent in food preparation and cooking.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional food and service.
