We are seeking a highly skilled Product Technologist to join our team at House of Fashion Associates Ltd. As a Product Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development and launch of our home textiles products.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, overseas manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure product compliance, quality, packaging, sustainability, on-time delivery, and end-user performance.
- Attend and contribute to pre-production handover meetings to ensure selected products meet customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed product specifications, imagery, and packaging templates using Illustrator.
- Populate, maintain, and manage relevant sections of a critical path to ensure timely customer product launches.
- Take a hands-on role in sample sealing, checking strike/bulk fabrics, packaging proofs, test/inspection reports, and gold seal samples to ensure compliance.
- Communicate approvals and rejections to suppliers and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Hold suppliers accountable for performance on sampling, testing, and inspection dates, including 'right first time' sample submission within agreed deadlines.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the home textiles industry.
- Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach, good communication skills, and a collaborative attitude.
- Organized and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident to make decisions and take responsibilities, yet unafraid to seek advice.
- A 360 thinker able to see the bigger picture when problem-solving.
- A strong communicator with the ability to present confidently via email, audio conferencing, and face-to-face with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
