About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Support Specialist to join our team at Croydon Council. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of effective sourcing processes for sub-threshold procurements and ensuring compliance across the strategic procurement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain reports/lists of existing suppliers on Oracle Fusion (or equivalent) by spend category to support the sub-threshold sourcing process.
  • Ensure that signed contracts have been lodged in the contract repository and that the contract award notice is published on Contracts Finder.
  • Provide advice on sub-threshold procurements, utilizing an understanding of contract law and public procurement legislation, with input from colleagues.
  • Work with stakeholders on a project-by-project basis to ensure compliance to the purchasing and procurement process for agreed areas of expenditure.
