Residential Catering Coordinator

Lancashire County Council is dedicated to providing exceptional catering services across multiple facilities, including 16 residential homes and 11 day centres, serving over 800 meals daily. We are seeking dedicated individuals to enhance our service.
As a member of the team at Favordale, you will be responsible for delivering nutritious and well-balanced meals to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals and beverages according to established menus and production schedules.
- Oversee and guide other team members in their duties.
- Manage inventory by ordering supplies and organizing deliveries.
- Keep accurate records and maintain stock control.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognized catering qualification and/or food hygiene certification is preferred.
- Experience in catering for large groups is advantageous.
Working Schedule:
- Rotating schedule over a two-week period.
- Availability for alternate weekends (enhancements applicable).
- Part-time commitment of 24 hours per week.
This role is part-time and follows a term-time schedule. Please note that the salary mentioned is based on full-time equivalency and will be adjusted accordingly for part-time work.
