Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Padstone Recruitment. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, including coordinating contractors, monitoring materials, and scheduling deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients and report on progress to staff and the public
  • Supervise construction workers and hire subcontractors
  • Buy materials for each phase of the project
  • Monitor build costs and project progress
  • Conduct quality and safety inspections
  • Check and prepare site reports, designs, and drawings
  • Maintain quality control checks
  • Motivate the workforce
  • Deal with day-to-day problems and issues that arise
  • Use specialist project management computer programs
  • Work on-site in all weathers, at client's businesses, or in a site office

Experience with timber frame residential builds is required, as we are looking to erect 13-20 plots. The annual salary will be between 40-50k including package, but this could also be negotiated on a time-sheet basis.
