Community Engagement Executive Role

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Engagement Executive to join our team at TPP Recruitment. As a Community Engagement Executive, you will play a crucial role in deepening connections with our supporters and local communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Regional Fundraising Strategies: Lead community engagement efforts by developing and implementing regional fundraising strategies to increase our supporter base across our six-county region.
  • Oversee Community Hub Initiative: Oversee our Community Hub in Hereford and drive the expansion of this concept to other areas, fostering strong community links and connections.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with the Community Fundraising Manager and wider team to maximise opportunities and reach in our local communities, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach.
  • Support and Train Volunteers: Support and train volunteers, offering tailored stewardship to enhance their engagement with our organisation and drive our mission forward.
  • Host Events and Connect with Community Groups: Utilise our facilities to host events and connect with community groups, driving our mission forward and building stronger, more engaged communities.

Requirements

  • Experience in Community Engagement or Fundraising: You will have experience in community engagement, fundraising, or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building Skills: You will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster strong connections with our supporters and local communities.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong Organisational Skills and Attention to Detail: You will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
