Job Title: Project Officer - Volunteer Management
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our team at Illuminate Recruitment Ltd. As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for managing volunteer projects, ensuring smooth project execution, and maintaining effective communication with volunteers and users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Matching volunteers to users and projects
- Ensuring the smooth running of projects with prompt communication to both volunteers and users
- Monitoring project progress and evaluating outputs and outcomes
- Collecting and storing relevant data
- Preparing an annual report for the Board
- Maintaining a list of volunteers and providing support, resources, and recognition
- Promoting Pro Bono OR to potential users and volunteers
- Identifying potential volunteers and keeping them engaged
Requirements:
- Project management experience
- Exceptional project administration abilities
- Volunteer management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Good strategic planning
- Ability to research, collate, and summarize facts and views in good English
- Ability to manage time effectively and monitor performance against deadlines and milestones
- Knowledge of and ability to use IT, including web conferencing software
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
Additional Responsibilities:
- Hosting and supporting online webinars
Working Environment:
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of one day per week in the Birmingham Office.
