Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Religious Education (RE) Instructor to contribute to our educational community. The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering exceptional RE instruction to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, aiming to cultivate critical thinking and ethical awareness.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, prepare, and present stimulating RE lessons tailored to various learning preferences.
  • Evaluate and track student development, offering constructive feedback.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist in the enhancement of the RE curriculum.
  • Engage in departmental discussions and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in teaching RE at the secondary education level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • A dedication to fostering diversity and understanding.
