Teaching Assistant Position

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is working in partnership with a reputable educational institution to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role that requires a strong commitment to supporting students with individual needs.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will work closely with students across the school that have individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to aid in their academic and social development. The role involves providing tailored support to meet the specific needs of each student across a variety of subject areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and provide support where necessary in the preparation of resources.
- Provide general classroom and intervention support as and when needed.
- Assist in promoting positive behavior throughout the school, implementing different strategies as needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to enhance the students' learning environment.
- Participate in the implementation of Individual Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special educational needs and a strong understanding of the importance of providing tailored support. A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is desirable.
