Orion Electrotech, a world leader in process plants for Surface Treatment, Non-Destructive testing (NDT) and Process Water Recycling, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all Sales and Estimating activities in line with the global sales strategy, as well as managing all spares sales activities. Additionally, they will manage and control equipment sales (covering bespoke capital equipment and standard products), spares and services (aftermarket spares and services support) and provide active input to the overall company strategy, direction and operational goals, in-line with the global strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Manage and control equipment sales, spares and services
- Provide technical and commercial support to clients and suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
- Contribute to the development of the company's overall strategy and direction
Requirements:
- Engineering qualification, HNC as a minimum
- 10+ years of experience in process manufacturing, special purpose machinery or similar manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience in a sales executive role
- 3+ years of experience in people management, preferable in an engineering environment
- Extensive technical, commercial sales and cost estimation experience
- Extensive Client/Supplier management (technical/commercial environment)
