About the Role

Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a company based in London that operates within the PropTech sector. The company is looking to expand its team and hire a skilled Java Developer who has experience as a Financial Analyst or is highly proficient in Cash Flow Modelling and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).

Key Responsibilities
  • Refactor a cash flow modelling engine using Java as the primary coding language
  • Work on the full software development lifecycle, with a focus on refactoring and improving existing code
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new features using Java, SQL, and Springboot
  • Gain exposure to React on the front-end and contribute to the development of a hybrid software solution
Requirements
  • Strong experience with Java and SQL
  • Financial modelling experience, specifically Cash Flow Modelling and Internal Rate of Return (IRR)
  • 2:1 or 1st Class Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Previous experience working in a Banking or Investment company
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with relevant coding languages, including Java, HTML/CSS, Springboot, JSP, React, REST, and JWT
  • Previous Financial Analyst experience
What We Offer

The salary for this position is up to £75,000 (flexible DOE) + discretionary Bonus up to 10% + 25 days holiday + Flexible working hours
