Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Fortice, a global consultancy, on a major project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business growth and innovation.
  • Translate business requirements into data models, defining data entities and associations to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive workshops on drawing preliminary data models, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with database administrators and developers to build and implement data models, leveraging industry standards and best practices.
  • Understand and analyze existing data structures to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation on data models, including metadata, relationships, and dependencies, to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices from industry data model sources to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior client stakeholders, including the Global Data Platform lead, to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Experience with data modelling standards and reference data models (ART/ADRM etc).
  • Proficiency in modelling tools like ER Studio, ERWin, etc.
  • Ability to document AS-IS functionalities on existing databases and design new data schemas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
