As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the flood risk and drainage teams across a range of activities such as flood risk solution design, hydraulic modeling, and hydrology assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and implementation of flood risk management solutions for clients across various sectors, including private and public sectors.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and hydrology assessments to identify and mitigate flood risk.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver projects in accordance with best practice and client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in flood risk management.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or environmental science.
  • Chartered status with a relevant institution, such as the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
