About the Role:
GSL Education - Yorkshire is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Numeracy Educator to become a part of a supportive Secondary School environment in Huddersfield.
This role is essential in delivering high-quality education in Mathematics, while also nurturing a positive learning atmosphere.
The Numeracy Educator will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their maximum potential in this vital subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver captivating and effective Mathematics lessons aligned with the UK education framework.
- Design and prepare lesson plans that adhere to the national curriculum standards.
- Evaluate, monitor, and report on student progress and achievements.
- Modify teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students in various classroom settings.
- Promote and maintain an inclusive and positive learning environment that supports student development.
- Implement school policies and procedures effectively to ensure consistency in the educational experience.
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and school personnel to facilitate smooth transitions and effective communication.
Candidate Requirements:
- Possession of a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an equivalent qualification.
- A proven history of delivering exceptional teaching in a similar educational role.
- Comprehensive understanding of the UK Mathematics curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with effective classroom management abilities.
- Current residency in the UK.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.
- A genuine passion for education and commitment to student support.
