Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany individuals on social outings and events, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, helping individuals to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Good observational skills, with the ability to identify and respond to individual needs.
  • Ability to take instruction and listen carefully, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy, with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
  • Good verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals and stakeholders.
  • Ability to respect individual privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Good general fitness, with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
