Principal Linux Engineer

Referment is partnering with a leading quantitative hedge fund to hire a highly skilled Principal Linux Engineer in London. This role involves working in a team that builds and supports the infrastructure for their quantitative trading business across all asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance computing solutions using Linux platforms
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless infrastructure support for quantitative trading operations
  • Mentor less experienced Linux Engineers and lead important engineering projects

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working on Linux platforms in a quantitative/low latency trading environment
  • Strong expertise in High Performance Computing, GPU's, Networking, and automation
  • Exceptional scripting skills with Bash and/or Python
