We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team at NOV. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing HSE support across our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities- HSE Program Implementation: Develop and maintain HSE processes and programs in alignment with our global HSE Management System, working closely with local management.
- Risk Assessment and Regulatory Compliance: Conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses, and advise on HSE regulatory compliance and industry practices.
- Training and Communication: Develop HSE training programs and matrices, lead HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and management reviews, and promote safe working practices.
- Audits and Inspections: Conduct facility HSE audits, participate in workplace inspections, and act as the primary contact for internal and external HSE inspections.
- Incident Management: Promote near-miss reporting, record, and investigate workplace incidents, and monitor the effective and timely closeout of corrective actions.
- Data Monitoring and Reporting: Collect and monitor data for ESG reporting, maintain emergency response plans, and schedule emergency drills. Report monthly on HSE key performance indicators and objectives.
- Procedure Development: Document and develop facility-specific and field-specific Level III HSE procedures, business continuity plans, and maintain COSHH assessments and hazardous communication information.
- Waste Management: Coordinate waste stream programs and disposal processes to maximize re-use and recycling opportunities.
- Contractor Management: Manage contractor management protocols, permits, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- NEBOSH General Certificate: Minimum requirement.
- Auditor / Lead Auditor Qualification: Preferably ISO 45001 / ISO.
- Environmental Qualification: E.g., IEMA preferred.
- Demonstrated Experience: In effective HSE risk management and applying the hierarchy of controls.
