As a Gatehouse Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering operational excellence and customer satisfaction with a high level of attention to detail.

Key duties include:

  • Assisting and supporting warehouse operatives when required.
  • Maintaining good communication with the Shift Manager and escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • Pre-allocating loads and inputting pre-advises for customer inbounds.
  • Compiling and sending reports as required.
  • Running orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
  • Moving staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
  • Selecting Loading / Un-loading Bay based on current operational requirements.
  • Updating the Electronic Schedule and Auto-store to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
  • Carrying out stock shortage investigations on picks and monitoring replenishments.
  • Controlling equipment allocation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in the use of WMS and Microsoft Excel.
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to work within a warehouse environment dealing with products in and out bound and returns when required.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within a Warehousing/Transport/Logistics/3PL background.
  • Previous Goods In/Out, Stock Control or Inventory experience.
  • A strong Customer Service background.
