Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated primary education specialist to join our team at Opogo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the school.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of all students.
