We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Seaham Hall. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests in our award-winning restaurant, The Dining Room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Deputise for the Restaurant Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless operation of the restaurant.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to achieve exceptional results.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in menu planning, development, and implementation.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to improve performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and customer service standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft systems and EPOS systems.
- Transportation to and from work is essential.
