We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tunneling Labour Manager to join our team at Danny Sullivan Group Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, site engagement, and labour resources.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client interface for DSG from pre-start stage to project completion
- Independently manage sites with minimal management support
- Conduct basic business development activities, including networking and lead passing
- Participate in annual budget planning
- Coordinate site training matrices as requested by clients
- Review and communicate weekly holiday schedules to site
- Request references and assess suitability of applicants before submitting to clients
- Offer advice to clients and candidates on pay rates, training, and career progression
- Deliver toolbox and health and safety talks to site as required
- Gather pipeline of recruitment needs for forward planning purposes
- Maintain a strong company image at all times
- Full driving license
- Knowledge of the civil engineering and construction industry
- Experience in tunneling work
- Strong administration skills
- Effective communication (written and verbal)
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Organisation and time management skills
- Ability to act on initiative and work proactively
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees within the business
- Discreet and trustworthy, able to deal sensitively and privately with confidential information
- Project-related documentation (internally and externally)
