About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tunneling Labour Manager to join our team at Danny Sullivan Group Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, site engagement, and labour resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client interface for DSG from pre-start stage to project completion
  • Independently manage sites with minimal management support
  • Conduct basic business development activities, including networking and lead passing
  • Participate in annual budget planning
  • Coordinate site training matrices as requested by clients
  • Review and communicate weekly holiday schedules to site
  • Request references and assess suitability of applicants before submitting to clients
  • Offer advice to clients and candidates on pay rates, training, and career progression
  • Deliver toolbox and health and safety talks to site as required
  • Gather pipeline of recruitment needs for forward planning purposes
  • Maintain a strong company image at all times
Requirements
  • Full driving license
  • Knowledge of the civil engineering and construction industry
  • Experience in tunneling work
  • Strong administration skills
  • Effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to act on initiative and work proactively
