About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health, Environment and Fire Manager to join our team at Mainstay IT. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with operational managers to facilitate liaison and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives across all contracts.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of health and safety reports to senior management and clients.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety management.
  • Experience in health and safety management in a construction or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of current and relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Full driving license and ability to travel as required.
