Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage security vulnerabilities within systems, ensuring that appropriate security measures are implemented and verified.

  • Work closely with the wider engineering team, providing cyber security insights throughout the engineering lifecycle, from initial requirements to operational support.
  • Oversee the cyber security risk management process for projects and provide guidance based on established risk management methodologies.
  • Represent Cyber Security across project engineering functions and contribute to the project's Security Working Group.
  • Develop the project security framework and collaborate with project partners, focusing on achieving project objectives.

You will apply your technical skills, judgment, and influence to enhance the security of systems delivered to clients and end users.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in conducting risk evaluations and recommending security measures across physical, personnel, procedural, and technical domains.
  • Familiarity with government information security policies, standards, and guidelines, with the ability to adapt them to specific product requirements.
  • Demonstrated focus on delivery, understanding the evolving demands on security design, implementation, and assurance.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, electronics, software technology, and development principles.
  • Previous experience in producing security case documentation for military-grade equipment or comparable projects.
  • Proven capability to engage with partners, engineering teams, and subcontractors, providing direction, mentorship, and support for balanced information security solutions.
