JOB PURPOSE

The primary objective is to achieve and surpass individual and store sales targets while implementing essential strategies for retail growth. This includes leveraging franchise opportunities, operational excellence, and category development. Daily, you will embody the Burberry Experience in all interactions, taking ownership of developing new clientele and nurturing relationships with existing customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Service

  • Embrace the Burberry Experience and adhere to training protocols to uphold the luxury brand's standards and image.
  • Consistently achieve personal sales objectives while demonstrating the Burberry Behaviours.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service and selling skills, showing a strong drive for success.
  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.

Client Development

  • Foster customer loyalty through proactive client engagement and follow-up.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and current client database.
  • Adhere to all client development activities, including courtesy communications and reactivation efforts.

Visual Merchandising

  • Follow company guidelines and utilize visual merchandising techniques to uphold the brand's visual standards.
  • Ensure the selling floor is maintained by:
    • Understanding and executing monthly floor sets.
    • Returning items to their proper places as you work.
    • Restocking merchandise after sales.
    • Properly folding and displaying merchandise.
    • Ensuring that price tags are discreetly placed.

Floor Presence & Maintenance

  • At the start of each shift, ensure the selling floor is prepared for customers.
  • At the end of each shift, ensure the selling floor is restocked and ready for the following day.
  • Maintain an active presence on the sales floor throughout the day.
  • Keep fitting rooms clean and organized.

Operational Support

  • Assist with markdown processes and participate in inventory management.
  • Engage in store contests and support stockroom organization.
  • Ensure all stock is properly stored and organized.
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with management and colleagues.
  • Consistently maintain a positive attitude and take accountability for actions.
  • Results-oriented with adaptability to change.
  • Genuine interest in Fashion and Design.
  • Proficient in POS and retail systems.
  • Minimum of one year of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong background in clienteling.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
  • Financial Metrics: meeting individual and store sales targets, UPT, ATV, and client development.
  • Customer satisfaction as measured by Burberry Experience evaluations.
  • Compliance with client engagement standards.
