Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Administrator to join our team at TIME Appointments Ltd in Ipswich. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, materials, and services to meet the company's operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase goods, materials, and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
- Monitor and advise on any issues that present risk or opportunity to the organization.
- Provide analysis on costs, new and existing, and review cost reduction activities.
- Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
- Responsible for keeping the accuracy of IT systems updated with all purchasing-related information.
- Negotiate contracts, improve prices, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings.
- Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules and resolve price, quality, delivery, and invoice issues.
- Chase overdue purchase orders.
- Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures guidance.
- Compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation.
- Monthly stock orders.
- Resolve invoice supplier queries.
- Process supplier ISO forms with all suppliers when onboarding them.
Requirements:
- Previous procurement experience is essential, including knowledge of purchasing, negotiating, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown.
- Ability to add value, reduce costs, and input to business improvements.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
